Product Description:
The SMC KQG2 series of stainless steel one-touch pneumatic fittings provides engineers with reliable performance and excellent protection against corrosion, chemicals and high temperatures. These high-performance fittings offer a range of significant benefits, including being up to 30% smaller and 62% lighter than standard fittings. With their compact design, they can be used with tubing diameters ranging from 3.2mm to 16mm.
In addition, the KQG2 series is incredibly versatile and suitable for various compressed air, water and steam systems. Furthermore, the fittings have an operating pressure range of (-100kPa to 1MPa) and temperature conditions (-5°C to +150°C). For added strength and durability, they are constructed from SUS316 stainless steel. This grade of stainless steel is a cut above SUS304 stainless steel, delivering improved pitting and corrosion resistance qualities, particularly in saline environments.
Features:
This product is highly compact and light, with dimensions reduced by approximately 30% and a weight that is approximately 62% lighter than its predecessor, the KQGL06-01S. It is constructed with stainless steel 316 for its metal parts and FKM for its seal parts.
This product is also versatile, capable of working with a range of tubing materials, including FEP, PFA, nylon, soft nylon, polyurethane and polyolefin, at temperatures between -5 and 150°c. Furthermore, it is completely grease-free, making it suitable for use with steam.

Note 1) For soft nylon tubing, water cannot be used.
